A metered dose spray of pharmaceutical-grade olive oil and mineral oil can soften earwax, aiding earwax removal and maintaining healthy ears. Earol® can also soothe dry and itchy ears.
How to Use Earol® Where to Buy Earol®
Earol® is clinically proven to soften, loosen, break up and naturally remove ear wax. It is highly recommended as a preparation for dewaxing and cleaning procedures. Earol® also soothes itchy and irritated ears. The natural blend includes pharmaceutical-grade olive oil, so gentle that Earol® is suitable for use from 1 year old.
Used weekly after wax removal procedures, Earol® enhances ear hygiene by keeping new ear wax soft, preventing buildup, itching and irritation. Delivered via a metered dose spray, Earol® can be used for up to 36 months after first actuation.
Because of the natural ingredients in Earol® Olive Oil Spray, it is suitable for most people to use. Earol® contains no hydrogen peroxide, making it one of the most gentle earwax softening treatments around.1
Earol® is the only earwax treatment product on the market suitable for use with children as young as 12 months old.
Gentle ingredients make this product suitable for all ages, with no solvents or animal products. None of the mess of ear drops, all of the ear care.
As we age, earwax can become dry, causing irritation in the ears. Earol® can soothe itchy ears and soften earwax build-up caused by hearing aids.
Following this simple process morning and evening softens, loosens and breaks up earwax, allowing it to be naturally expelled from the ear. Earol® can also be used to soothe itchy and irritable ears. For adults or children over 12 years:
Open the ear canal by gently lifting and pulling outwards on the upper ear.
Spray Earol® once or twice into the blocked ear.
Massage the small bump on the outside of the ear, whilst moving the jaw up and down, and left to right. This helps Earol® adhere fully to the ear canal walls.
Apply Earol® twice daily for 4 or 5 days before wax removal, or once a week after wax removal as a preventative measure.
If using Earol® to soften earwax buildup prior to earwax removal, audiologists recommend applying twice daily in each affected ear, for 4-5 days before your appointment.
To use Earol® Olive Oil Spray to prevent earwax build-up, apply the spray just once a week. This will help maintain soft ear wax and healthy ears, without stimulating the earwax-producing glands in the ear canal too much.
With a small, metered dose of olive oil applied to hardened or impacted earwax, the oil is absorbed by the wax, hydrating and loosening the bonds between particles and causing it to break up. It also lubricates the ear canal so that earwax can be removed by an audiologist.
Earol® is a readily available, over-the-counter product supplied by many UK retailers and pharmacies. Click this link for details of where to buy Earol® products.

Ears are highly sensitive organs, and looking after them is as important as any other personal hygiene. Cleaning the outer ear regularly with warm soapy water and a gentle cloth is recommended2, but never insert objects smaller than your elbow into the ear canal, as this can push wax further inside and cause blockages.3
Using Earol® weekly can keep earwax soft and prevent build-ups of wax.
